Licensed Health Care Providers

Naturopathic Physicians (N.D.) receive their education from a four-year professional naturopathic medical college, where they are trained as primary care family physicians.  N.D.s also evaluate diet and nutrition, and place emphasis on restoring health and developing wellness programs to help keep the patient disease-free.  N.D.s are the only physicians clinically trained in a wide variety of medical systems from which they are able to combine and tailor these treatments to the individual needs of patients.

Intravenous Therapy (IV Therapy)

Nutrition levels can be affected by stress, diet, chemical exposure, alcohol, prescription drugs and impaired circulation. Even when a person feels perfectly healthy, their tissues and organs may be depleted of his/her required nutrient levels.

In this therapy, vitamins, antioxidants, amino acids and other natural nutrients are given intravenously. IV Therapy bypasses the digestive system for faster absorption and is customized to meet the need of each patient. The therapy can restore and improve health performance; improve circulation, the metabolism and the immune system, and naturally relax and detoxify the body. IV therapy is used as an aid for patients with various conditions, and may be included in their Personalized Treatment Plans.  For more info click here.

Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation (UVBI)

Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation (UVBI) is a treatment that involves a three-step process. A patient’s blood is first withdrawn. The blood is then exposed to a stream of ultraviolet light (UV). Lastly, the blood is slowly reintroduced back into the body.

The irradiated blood can then circulate throughout the body, destroying bacteria, inactivating toxins and viruses, and enhancing the immune system. UVBI can be used as part of a Personalized Treatment plan for colds/influenza, acute and chronic sinusitis and bronchitis, cancer, emphysema, HIV, chemical sensitivity, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, autoimmune diseases, tendonitis, and heart disease. Biological Detoxification

Chemicals and metals are everywhere, and are almost unavoidable. They are in the air we breathe, the foods and drinks we consume, and in many of the items we come in contact with on a daily basis. The body’s natural system of filtration and detoxification systems include the lungs, liver, kidney, and skin. If these systems are unable to handle everyday contaminants, biochemical toxins build within the body. Over time, this can lead to condition known as toxemia, which can weaken many of the body’s systems and can contribute to and aggravate many conditions.

Once toxemia is suspected, a detoxification therapy becomes necessary. We use many detoxification therapies including heat depuration, biodetoxification and chelation therapy to help clear and open up the filtration and detoxification systems.

Heat depuration uses a hyperthermic ozone chamber to reduce Xenobiotics, which are toxic chemicals stored in fatty tissue. Xenobiotics travel from the blood to the liver, where they are processed and made water-soluble, which allow the toxins to leave through the body’s natural detoxification system.

In biodetoxification therapy, toxins can be released after a patient is given natural medication either intravenously or orally that binds to the toxins. Chelation therapy is another widely used therapy at Natural Wellnessl Center that focuses on metals trapped in the body.

Chelation Therapy

Mercury, nickel, lead, and aluminum are all considered heavy (toxic) metals. They can enter our bodies from many sources including exhaust, cosmetics, paint, evaporated milk, infant formulas, baby powder, bleached white flour, pharmaceutical drugs, antacids, tooth paste, and aspirin.

Heavy metals can block the natural detoxification processes. This can lead to fatigue, nutritional deficiencies, and numerous other health-related issues. Chelation therapy safely and effectively removes heavy metals from the body’s cells and tissues.

The word “chelation” comes from the Greek work chele, which means claw. Chelation therapy can be administered orally or by injection. The therapy can be helpful in improving blood circulation and can be part of the Personalized Treatment Plan for patients with various conditions.

Autohemotherapy

Autohemotherapy has been used mostly throughout Europe for over 50 years. Blood is withdrawn from the arm, infused with Ozone, and then restored into the body. Autohemotherapy may help regulate the immune system and decrease inflammation. The therapy can be included in the Personalized Treatment Plans of patients with various conditions . Intravenous Vitamin C Therapy

During Intravenous Vitamin C Therapy, high doses of Vitamin C are introduced into the blood stream. Research indicates that increasing Vitamin C levels can lead to anabolic processes, organ function improvement, and immune system enhancement. Our team uses Intravenous Vitamin C Therapy as part of their patients’ Personalized Treatment Plans for various conditions. For more info click here.

Ozone Therapy

Exposure to certain environmental stresses, such as toxins and pathogens, can lead to oxygen depletion. This can cause cells to mutate. These mutations can lead to a cell’s inability to heal, regulate, make hormones and communicate.

Ozone therapy works to aid the body's immune system, enhance cellular function, improve metabolism, fight the aging process, improve memory, and reduce pain and inflammation. No matter the condition, ozone therapy is an adjunctive therapy because it increases the effectiveness of other treatments and therapies in your Personalized Treatment Plan.

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (H2O2) Therapy

This therapy is administered as follows: Weak, very pure Hydrogen Peroxide (0.0375%) or lower concentration) is added to a sugar or salt-water solution, the same as used for intravenous feeding in hospitals. This is injected in doses from 50 to 500 mL into a large vein usually in the arm, slowly over a period of 1 to 3 hours depending on the amount given and the condition of the patient. It is painless, excluding the very small needle stick. Treatments are usually given about once a week in chronic illness, but can be given daily in patients with acute illness such as pneumonia or flu. - click here for more info

Prolotherapy

In Prolotherapy, damaged tissue is injected with a combination of a mild natural irritant and a local anesthetic. By drawing more blood flow to the area, the immune system is stimulated. Prolotherapy is a well researched and proven non-surgical medical procedure treatment practiced by many highly regarded physicians specializing in pain, rehabilitation, and sports medicine.
Benefits of Prolotherapy may include increased strength, stability and range of motion, pain medication reduction or elimination, performance maximization. Some experience significant pain relief after the first treatment and find prolotherapy a surgery alternative. It is a powerful healing agent for sudden trauma, repetitive overuse, or pain of the tendons and ligaments and is part of the Personalize Treatment Plan for many conditions. - click here for more info on Prolotherapy

Scar/Neural Therapy

Internal and external scars can be caused by trauma, surgery, chronic inflammation, and blood or nerve blockages. Scars can cause pain, affect the involuntary nervous system, restrict movement, and obstruct the body’s network.

Scar/Neural Therapy works to unblock scars, eliminating the negative effects. The treatment involves injecting a local anesthetic and a mild natural irritant into the scarred areas.

Scar/Neural Therapy may be part of a Personalized Treatment Plan for many of our patients with diverse conditions.
